The sun as an environmentally friendly energy source
On the roof of our production hall, 1,496 solar modules with an area of 2,524 m² and an output of 494 kWp supply us with energy. Using 9 inverters, around 440,000 kWh of green electricity is produced from solar energy each year. This corresponds to the annual electricity consumption of approximately 110 four-person households.
The cycle of our heating system
The waste from chips and offcuts is transported to the wood waste shredder via a conveyor belt that runs underneath our K2-Industry joinery machine.
From there, the chips are sucked through a pipe system into the 18.5 m high silo tower by means of an extraction system. Below the chip storage facility is the biomass heating system, which generates heating energy from our chips and heats the underfloor heating in our hall.
